The MyKey application is managed by Personal Data Labs UK Ltd, it is a simple service that helps you sign up and sign in to applications or sites that have enabled the MyKey sign in approach.

The MyKey application and process is licenced under a specific open source code base (https://www.fedid.me ) under a licence named MIT No Surveillance. In practice this means that service providers, such as MyKey have committed to not engaging in any surveillance style practices and respect your privacy around what you sign up for an sign into.

MyKey needs your email address and mobile phone number for operational reasons, and optionally keeps you informed should you wish to be of new applications and web sites now supporting the MyKey methods.

You can withdraw from the ‘keep me informed notifications at any time. Core operational communications cannot be switched off as the service would fail to operate without that ability.
